Taste of Upcountry, on Saturday, September 29th, 2018, 6:00-10:00 PM

Taste of Upcountry is designed to highlight the collaborations of Mauiʻs renowned chefs and Upcountry farmers and purveyors, who provide delicious food and produce on our island. We are so grateful to our contributing Chefs for offering their talents to Montessori School of Maui and the Upcountry community.
Taste of Upcountry will be held under a tent on the school’s beautiful campus in Makawao, featuring culinary stations presenting delicious pupu and dessert “tastes” for our attendees. This event is 21+ and open to the public. This is a BYBB event, (Bring Your Best Bottle) and there will be no sale of alcohol.

This is the primary fundraising event for Montessori School of Maui of the 2018-19 school year, and all proceeds will directly support the Schoolʻs operating budget. Each year, we work hard to raise funds for our student programs, teachers’ professional development, campus maintenance costs, tuition assistance for students and more.

The Montessori School of Maui provides a comprehensive curriculum from early childhood into adolescence by following the principles, spirit and philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori’s method of education. This approach features a collaborative learning environment to stimulate each student’s critical thinking skills, cultivate inquisitive minds and empower children to actively participate in the rapidly changing environment of the twenty-first century.
